Machinemonitor® are pleased to announce that we are once again participating in Machines2016 Conference.  Mike Davis will be presenting a paper at this years 17th annual Machines conference. Mikes paper, titled Problems and Solutions With Magnetic Stator Wedges, explores how the use of magnetic materials for wedging induction motor stator windings has become more prevalent over the last decade. The move to the use of these materials has led to new reliability and maintenance challenges. Mike’s presentation will briefly discuss the development of magnetic wedge material, the advantages of using magnetic wedges and a case study will be presented outlining a recent industry experience.
