Workplace safety program wins machinemonitor® Hunter Safety Award

Serious about safety

machinemonitor® is honoured to be recognised and awarded one of the Hunter Safety Awards 2023.

Returning for its 7th year, the awards explore WHS approaches from management systems, new ideas, and innovative health and wellbeing programs to improve the lives of staff.

machinemonitor®, a local Hunter business for almost a quarter century entered for the first time and we were thrilled to win in our category to showcase our extensive work in establishing robust systems ensuring a safe workplace.

Why the time was right to enter in 2023

“The timing for the businesses first entry to the Hunter Safety Awards coincides with several targeted outcomes for our business but importantly we have always been serious about safety. We’ve been a ‘quiet achiever’ until now with our extensive workplace safety practices and policies,” said Aurelio Ciarrocchi, COO Eastern Region/NZ

Proud of our long history of Workplace Safety

This award recognises the 15-plus years of safety-focussed development in every aspect of machinemonitor® operations.

Hunter Safety Awards Founder and Judge, Sarah-Jane Dunford said this was one of their toughest years judging, with so many new businesses entering.

This award recognises the 15-plus years of safety-focussed development in every aspect of machinemonitor® operations.

“To be judged and rewarded by highly qualified and respected WHS professionals in our state of origin will encourage even more focus on workplace safety. We plan to do better year on year.”

The Hunter Safety Awards were launched in 2016 to highlight and acknowledge companies and individuals within the Hunter region who demonstrate best-practice and innovative approaches when it comes to workplace health and safety.

Each year the Hunter Safety Awards attracts sponsors from local, national, and international business communities.

Awards were presented across 13 categories and winners announced at a gala event on Friday 17 March 2023 at Newcastle Exhibition and Conference Centre (NEX).

“As the only awards event specifically for WHS professionals in the Hunter, we’re looking forward to networking and supporting the finalists and the winners for our seventh gala night,” Sarah-Jane concluded.
